At a time when reality itself is seen as dispensable, the very idea of sketching out an imperfect, private map, of tracing a fleeting sequence over any terrain, poses an uncertain challenge. The pieces on show here offer a consistent, albeit fragmentary, set of outlooks, options and attitudes, an unfinished map intended as a guide to the work of five photographers who are working in close contact, though addressing different concerns.
