The city of Madrid will become a cultural landmark this summer in a new edition of the festival "Veranos de la Villa". An event that, between June 27 and September 2, will meet in the capital national and international artists of diferent art genre.
La ciudad de Madrid se convertirá un verano más en referente cultural con una nueva edición del festival Veranos de la Villa. Una cita que, entre el 27 de junio y el 2 de septiembre, reunirá en la capital a grandes artistas nacionales e internacionales.
The festival is presented this year with two important innovations. First, the incorporation of the Teatro Circo Price . Through the scenario of Summers Price, during July around thirty artists, such as Jethro Tull's, Ian Anderson, Regina Spektor, Earth Wind & Fire or Nneka, in adittion to Miguel Poveda and Russian Red, between the national representation.
But "Veranos de la Villa" festival recovers in this edition, one of its emblematic areas: the Conde Duque Museum, who along with the "Matadero" exposition area will become headquarters of the "Fringe festival". The courtyards of Conde Duque and Matadero Madrid will host the most diverse performing arts, in an alternative and open atmosphere full of art and inspiration, where the "Veranos de la Villa" festival wants to make room for new proposals, fresh, and why not more risky, in genres as diverse as music, dance, physical theater and of articles or performance.
In addition, the in Sabatini´s Gardens will become one of the main outdoor stages of the summer, with an extensive program with flamenco as it´s main attraction. Great spanish artists will sing and dance as Pitingo, El Cigala, Estrella Morente, Diana Navarro, Mayte Martín and Farruquito, among others.
