Sorrolla´s Museum focuses in the objects he met in his life. Most representive part of his collection are obviously works, paintings and drawings, which is the most comprehensive and representative collection is preserved. It comes from the donations that his wife and children gave to the Spanish state to create the museum, and it has increased since 1951 with the delivery of all goods by the son of Sorolla, Joaquin Sorolla García. Since 1982 has been increased with acquisitions made by the Spanish goverment to complete the collection.
