A show dedicated to the figure of Leonardo da Vinci
The universe of the artist is included in this sample which has a projection in 3D of his life. In the 19 exhibition areas you can find recreations of its work , works of his disciples and reproductions of many of their machines.
The Italian Renaissance artist is the star of this show which is divided into three main parts: one showing the most intimate of Da Vinci, another dedicated to the paintings of his Italian and Spanish disciples and a third that reviews some of the machines he created.
Many museums, and national and international institutions have collaborated in the recreation of his work places, and objects that brings to public the personality of Da Vinci,for example of a rereation of his personal library and his study, which includes more than 40 codices and manuscripts and five original drawings by the painter.
His students and their creations also have space in this sample. Works like `The Last Supper 'of Giampietrino, first time it´s shown in Spain. Art Channel also includes reproductions of sixty of their machines, many of them been used, illustrating the different areas of work of this artist.
`Da Vinci. The genius' includes a three-dimensional film projection, which tries to paroach the visitants to the mind of the genius. To complement this exhibition there has been organize many workshops and a five-course culinary tasting designed by chef Sergi Arola.
